I started my HND in electrical engineering in August 2021, when I started I did not think the mathematics would be an issue. Being 32 years old and out of full-time education for some time, I suddenly realised that this was not the case and I was not understanding some of the modules. The further the maths course went on it was beginning to affect my learning due to being able to use what I had previously learned into practice in the course. I found Matthew on (first tutors) after looking through his reviews I reached out for his help. Within the week we had arranged an appointment and started going over what I was not understanding. He is fantastic at what he does and I cannot stress enough that if you are struggling or not understanding something. Reach out to Matthew as he will help you gain the knowledge you need to feel comfortable tackling the problems you face. His knowledge is vast and he can make the most complex of problems seem simple. Even though I had issues with a couple of maths modules I decided to carry on getting lessons from Matthew throughout the year and go over every module I had been taught before my maths exam. I am now better prepared than ever and feel far more confident going into my exam. Without his help and guidance, I am not sure how I would have done in the exam. I am extremely grateful for his help and I will have no hesitation contacting Matthew while I progress further with my course work and degree.
