Jason has been tutoring our son for Edexcel GCSE English for 3 months and we are full of gratitude for his support. He very quickly got to know Oliver, building rapport and mutual respect in the first session. This gave our son absolute trust in Jason from the start. Jason has been clear to plan sessions and set expectations really well throughout and has kept me in the loop if I haven't been able to be present. I have really appreciated these updates. Oliver described the sessions as just what he needed, he said the analysis techniques were really helpful, that Jason was friendly and approachable and gave him the perfect amount of challenge to allow him to develop his skills. Early on, Jason picked up that Oliver was lacking in confidence affecting his time management and ability to get started in exams. His skilled tuition, guidance and mentoring empowered Oliver to approach his work with far greater confidence, technique and skills than he had before. He said that much of what he did in sessions, he was able to directly apply in his exams. Jason has also taken time to ask for feedback throughout, to send words of encouragement to Oliver and express interest in how he was doing in exams.
