I have 31 years of teaching experience and since my retirement 4 years ago I have been tutoring. I am friendly, approachable and work hard to ensure my sessions match the needs of students

I am a very experienced teacher with a proven track record of helping students fulfil their potential. I enjoy tutoring as it is great to get to know students and find out how they learn best, this helps to increase their confidence in their ability. I am friendly and like to explore different ways to prepare students for the exams as well as appreciating the excitement of their subject. I studied Biology when I went to Liverpool University when I was 18. I completed an Open University Psychology degree in 2006. I always felt lucky to teach two such interesting subjects to A’level. Healthy bodies and healthy minds are so important!
