About
I love English and inspriring my students to achieve. I am a GCSE English Language and English Literature and A Level English Language teacher with 25 years experiece gained in London colleges. I have worked as a private tutor since 2017 and have helped many tutees improve their grades with all major exam boards. I also worked as an examiner while i was a Section Manager in the English department of Richmond College .

Jakki is an excellent professional tutor. She managed to get my 16 yo teenager son's attention and actually made him enjoy studying English. I never seen my son before paying this much attention to a tutor. Jakki has 'that something extra' what made my son wanting to study English not just taking it as a 'boring thing to do' Lessons are excellent .Jakki is highly recommended.

My son has SEND and was struggling massively with GCSE English. He has been tutored by Jakki since September and ,during that time, she has been extremely kind, patient and encouraging. As a result, his confidence has increased and he has made great progress. In particular, he has a much better understanding of how to answer questions. I am really pleased with and grateful for the help Jakki has given my son.

We are so pleased with Jacqueline’s work with our son on GCSE English. He enjoys the sessions and has made clear progress. We just found out that’s he went from a 4 in PPE1 to a 7 in PPE2 - surpassed all our expectations in just a couple of months with Jacqueline! Highly recommended!
