I'm a software engineer with a PhD and 30 years of professional experience. I've spent my career using maths and computer science every day — building real software, including medical-imaging systems used in hospitals. So I don't just teach the formulas; I can show students why they matter and where they're used in the real world.

I believe anyone can understand maths and computing if it's explained clearly, step by step, without jargon. I'm patient, calm, and I work at the student's pace. My job is to make the hard parts feel simple — and to build confidence as well as knowledge.

Help with pure maths, mechanics and statistics, plus exam-style problem solving. Strong on the deeper "why" behind the methods, from a maths-heavy engineering and PhD background.

GCSE Computer Science — description (rate £25/hr)

Programming (Python), algorithms, and the theory topics. I make coding approachable and explain computer-science concepts in plain English.

A-Level Computer Science — description (rate £30/hr)

Programming, algorithms, data structures, and theory, with 30 years of professional software experience behind every explanation. Comfortable with board-specific pseudocode and project work.
