About
I am a dual-qualified lawyer (New York, England and Wales) with a Double First-Class degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and an LLM from Harvard Law School, which I attended as a Fulbright Scholar.
I have a genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed in their study of Law. Unlike many tutors, this is my full-time profession, which allows me to dedicate myself fully to my students throughout the academic year. I am committed to each student’s progression and am always willing to go the extra mile to help them achieve their goals. I am flexible with scheduling and strive to accommodate my students’ needs.
ADMISSIONS
I provide personalised guidance for students aiming to secure places at leading universities in the UK and the US. I support every stage of the admissions process, including strategic course and university selection, crafting compelling and unique personal statements, and navigating applications for scholarships and grants.
Oxbridge & Elite UK Admissions Specialist
For Oxbridge applicants, I offer tailored, hands-on support throughout the entire journey. This includes guidance on college choice, assistance with supplementary materials and portfolios, comprehensive LNAT preparation, and rigorous mock interviews with detailed feedback. Drawing on my academic and professional background in law and extensive experience mentoring aspiring law students, I help students build confidence, refine their intellectual engagement, and present themselves as compelling candidates.
LNAT Preparation & Success
As a specialist LNAT tutor, I provide comprehensive preparation covering both the multiple-choice section and the essay component. My approach focuses not only on exam strategy and technique, but also on sharpening critical thinking, deconstructing complex reading passages, and developing the structured, persuasive essay techniques required by top-tier universities.
My students consistently score well above the national average, successfully securing offers to read Law at prestigious institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE, and King's College London.
LAW TUITION
I provide regular tuition for students seeking additional support at all levels. Whether you are working towards a 2:1 or aiming for a First, I can help. I teach all core undergraduate modules and a wide range of optional modules at both undergraduate and graduate level.
I also offer targeted, exam-focused revision sessions with an emphasis on practice questions and assessment strategies, including model template answers to guide your preparation. Additionally, I provide detailed coursework review and feedback, including on dissertations and longer-form assessments, to help you improve your work and achieve your academic potential.
SQE TUITION
I offer tuition for SQE1 and SQE2 professional qualification exams. Having taken FLK1 and FLK2 myself—passing first time in the top 2% of candidates for both—I understand how demanding and mentally and physically taxing these exams can be, particularly for non-native English speakers. I teach the substantive content you need to succeed, alongside practical tips and strategies to master the unique style of the exams.
CAREER SUPPORT
I assist students with vacation scheme and training contract applications, including preparation for critical thinking exercises and psychometric tests, interview coaching, and broader academic and career guidance.
AND FINALLY
For younger students considering studying Law at university, I offer taster sessions to provide insight into what the course entails and help you make an informed decision about your future.
