Hannah has worked as a full-time as a private tutor since 2009; she has since taught over 700 British and international students in one-to-one, classroom, and online lessons.
Hannah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews and did her research project on the neuromuscular disorder Parkinson’s disease. She then qualified as a Bowen Therapy practitioner before undertaking an international PGCE at the University of Sheffield. Following this, Hannah completed a Masters in Molecular Biology studying with the Centre for European Master's Programmes; her thesis focused on epigenetic mechanisms induced by oncoviruses and therapeutic interventions.
Hannah specialises in preparing students for entry into medicine, dentistry, veterinary, and biological science courses at university with a focus on high-achieving Biology & Geography A-Level results. In addition, she also coaches students for the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT), University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), and the Test of Academic Reasoning for Admissions (TARA).
Since 2010, Hannah has also worked as a UCAS adviser supporting British and international students with their applications to UK universities. Hannah has a 100% success rate in interview invitations for students applying to G5 universities.

It is very tough to find elite tutors who are experts in their craft. Having tried various tutors for my younger sister over the years, Hannah was finally the tutor we had been looking for and we stayed with till the end given her fantastic teaching, professionalism, great level of organisation, ability to cover a lot of material, and all-around amazing tutor. Hannah is an excellent tutor who provides detailed and easily accessible work material. She was prompt when replying to emails regarding study topics, timetabling and billing. Her communication regarding the timetabling of lessons was clear and quick. Her online resources made it quick and easy to review old notes. During lessons she was easily able to develop a rapport and tailor the learning to my needs. She provided a clear structure to the learning experience. She ensured the information was retained by returning to it with appropriate questions and prompts for questions. She encouraged me to consider the material learned when away from lessons and return with examples of areas to explore or return to. Hannah displayed a professional, considered and thorough approach to the learning. Her attitude also fostered a relaxed learning experience that facilitated an open exploration of the material. I have already bored unsuspecting friends with factoids about Aquaporins, metabolic pathways and clotting cascades. I wish her the very best and hope to be able to restart my learning with her soon.

Hannah is extremely professional; it is immediately apparent as to the difference between someone who tutors for a living and someone who, whilst knowledgeable, tutors as a sideline. She demonstrated a quick and intuitive grasp of how to tutor my son, and he immediately felt at ease with her approach. She has extensive knowledge of what examiners are looking for and how students can show what they know to the best effect. From what I've experienced so far I have little doubt that she will significantly raise the standard of my son's work, and hence the grade he ultimately achieves.

Hannah has proved to be a great success with my 18 year old daughter who was initially reluctant to have help with her Geography A level. However, the Skype revision sessions are of huge help. Hannah has been an exceptional tutor and helped me gain an A in A level geography when I was predicted a B. Her notes are extremely thorough yet very easy to learn from. Completing past questions every week with her made a big impact when it came to preparation nearer the exam, since we worked a lot on exam technique. Even though I signed up to her tutoring midway through the year, we were able to get through all the material and do lots of past paper practice. Definitely recommend her to anyone doing A levels!

I can't rate Hannah highly enough. She is an excellent tutor and helped my daughter with her Geography AS level so much. She developed her confidence and belief in herself when it was at rock bottom. Alice has only been with Hannah for a month but we have already seeing significant benefits from their weekly sessions. Hannah is a fantastic tutor: she has a thorough understanding of her subject area and the various biology syllabuses; she is well organised with a wide range of valuable resources which she uses to good effect to stretch Alice, but also to consolidate her learning on areas where she is not so confident. She spent valuable time at the beginning of the relationship understanding Alice's objectives for A2 biology and assessing her ability against these. She has the perfect balance of encouraging Alice but also pushing her to achieve to her potential. Alice is really enjoying her sessions and feels she is getting so much out of them. Even her biology teacher has noticed! Hannah sends a weekly update after the session which is very valuable, as it allows us to support as parents. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
