I have almost five years of teaching experience teaching Latin, Classical Civilisation and Ancient Greek to A Level in both private and grammar schools. I have an MPhil in Classics from the University of Cambridge and a PGCE from King's College London.

While my main job is teaching in school, I find 1-1 tutoring extremely rewarding, especially watching students grow in confidence session-by-session. I take care to build a positive rapport with my students in the hope they not only learn something from my sessions, but leave the hour with a new sense of energy and excitement for the subject. Ahead of starting 1-1 tutoring, I will speak with the student and/or parent to learn more about the student's learning style, their aims and targets, and any access arrangements needed.
