Welcome to my profile. I pride myself on being an intelligent, focused and reliable tutor, who is an expert at understanding and relating to my tutees. I bring genuine warmth, kindness and enthusiasm to every session, and build rapport with each unique student I work with. I have vast experience working with students from lots of different backgrounds, especially providing challenge for G+T/MA. I am experienced teaching in grammar schools, independent schools and free schools. I have extensively taught A Level Literature, and have examined for AQA Literature for the last 5 years.

I am adept at explaining how to excel and helping students to get there. My students on average beat their school set targets by at least one grade, usually significantly more. This is partially due to the hard work of my students, but I take great care to personally tailor my resources and teaching style to best facilitate progress of each student.
