I'm Lewis, a fully qualified English teacher with 5+ years of classroom and 1-to-1 experience, specialising in KS3, GCSE, and A-Level English Language and Literature.

I hold a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing and gained my QTS through the University of Portsmouth. I'm also a specialist in Poetry and Creative Writing, and work as a GCSE examiner — so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help students maximise their marks.

Based in Jacobstowe, Devon, I offer in-person sessions across the local area (including Okehampton, Hatherleigh, and Exeter) as well as flexible online sessions for students nationwide.

My approach is calm, collaborative, and always tailored to the individual. Whether your child needs support building foundational skills, tackling a challenging text, or targeting top grades in their exams, I'll create a structured programme designed around their specific needs and learning style.

I pride myself on delivering high-quality, high-impact lessons that build genuine confidence and a love of English. All abilities and learning needs are warmly welcome.
