I have been a Teacher of Music and Choral Lead at North London Collegiate School since 2017 and continue to enjoy private tutoring alongside my classroom teaching. I have high expectations of my tutees and support them to achieve their goals through engaging explanations, constructive feedback and clear targets to work on between lessons.

I studied for my BMus degree at King's College London and the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a First Class degree, before completing a PGCE in Secondary Music Teaching at the UCL Institute of Education. After my Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) year at The Tiffin Girls' School, I joined North London Collegiate School, where I continue to teach and lead the school's choral programme.

My own educational journey has given me experience of a wide range of schools and learning environments. I attended my local state comprehensive school before going on to study at King's College London. I then trained as a teacher in state schools in Wembley and Camden, taught in a grammar school, and now work in an independent school. This breadth of experience enables me to relate to students from diverse backgrounds and tailor my teaching to each individual's needs, aspirations and learning style.
