I have been teaching and tutoring since 2009, was made a Head of Psychology in 2013, and have an excellent record of getting the best from my students, with the majority exceeding their target grades. I also have multiple years experience examining A level Psychology, & now tutor full time.

My lessons are personalised to the needs of the student. For example, if they have exams coming up soon I can provide condensed content revision, as well as exam skills practice.

Or if they’ve struggled with a particular topic (or missed a lot of lessons for it) then I can teach it at a pace they’re comfortable with, using a variety of techniques including discussion, worksheets and exam questions.

I have taught AQA Psychology (AS and A level) for 17 years so have excellent knowledge of the specification and a huge bank of resources I can share. I have used the “green haired boy” and "pink haired girl" textbooks with my own students, so if they are familiar with those then I’ll discuss the specific studies and evaluation issues that they have already been taught at school.

As a senior examiner, I know exactly how to answer each type of exam question and can teach them to quickly identify what is needed and how to make the most of their time in the exam. I can also help students avoid the common mistakes which cost them marks.

My lessons take place online via Zoom and my 1-to-1 prices are as follows:

Weekday evenings: £60 per hour

Weekday daytimes: Discounted rate of £50 per hour

Weekends: Premium rate of £80 per hour.
