I’m a qualified UK primary teacher with extensive experience across KS1 and KS2, including Year 6, SATs preparation and supporting pupils with 11+ entrance exams.

I particularly enjoy working with children who need a more personalised approach to learning. I have substantial experience supporting pupils with SEN and adapting lessons to suit different learning needs, strengths and areas of difficulty. My teaching is patient, structured and encouraging, with a strong focus on building both skills and confidence.

I offer support with:

• SEN and personalised learning – adapting teaching, breaking learning into manageable steps and using visual and multi-sensory approaches where helpful
• 11+ preparation – English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, exam technique and time management
• Early reading and phonics – developing decoding, fluency, comprehension and confidence
• English – reading, inference, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling and writing
• Maths – strengthening foundations, addressing misconceptions and developing problem-solving skills
• SATs preparation – targeted support and developing confidence with assessment-style questions

I believe children learn best when they feel understood, supported and appropriately challenged. I take time to understand how each pupil learns and tailor lessons accordingly, whether they need help overcoming a particular barrier, consolidating their knowledge or preparing for an important exam.

My aim is for pupils to leave each lesson feeling more confident, capable and positive about their learning.
