Experienced GCSE Maths & Science Tutor, with over 14 years of tutoring experience, specialising in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a strong academic foundation in STEM subjects, enabling me to explain complex concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging way.
My teaching approach combines subject expertise with patience, encouragement, and personalised support tailored to each student’s individual learning style and academic goals. I have consistently helped secondary school students improve confidence, strengthen subject understanding, and achieve excellent academic results, maintaining a strong record of student success.

We are so pleased to have found Venkata! Venkata is highly organised, extremely reliable and above all a great teacher She has shown care and understanding with our twins as they approach their GCSE's - catering for their individual needs. Lessons are well structured and resourced, and the content always explained well. Their confidence continues to grow as they tackle aspects of the syllabus that require some extra attention. We have used Venkata twice, the first time for GCSE Maths revision and the second time for A-Level Chemistry. Both times my daughter found it very helpful. My year 10 daughter has been seeing Mrs Venkata for just over 4 weeks now, and I have seen some progress with her maths. Mrs Venkata is super friendly and shows real care for her students. I was even cheeky to seek her help with a question in chemistry, which i dont pay for, but she was more than helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We found Venkata through First Tutors and then discovered that she also tutors a couple of my daughters friends. Venkata is an excellent tutor for my daughter. Very approachable and friendly, she has tailored the tutoring to my daughter's needs and has been flexible in the content she is covering. It has helped my daughter fill some gaps in her knowledge from school and give her greater confidence. I would definitely recommend Venkata as a tutor.

Venkata is always very reliable and has been very accommodating with last minute changes to the time of my daughter’s session. My daughter has been tutored by Venkata throughout the summer holidays and we will continue for the foreseeable future. Venkata is always on time and makes good use of the hour. My daughter said Venkata explains things very clearly and makes sure she understands everything they have done. She can tell if my daughter is struggling and will go through it with her again. My daughter doesn’t find the lessons boring. Venkata sets homework but is considerate taking into account any other homework she may have.
