I really want you to enjoy my sessions and also find that extra confidence to achieve. I tailor my tutoring around how you wish to learn, by setting targets and teaching in a style that you ask for to create a truly personalised approach. To add value, I use fun and interactive activities linked to the exam questions.

To help create the very best experience for each session, I use personalised assessment for learning techniques with a focus on your starting points. Last year I enjoyed working with several excellent students that received either A*, A, B or C at A level and 6-9 at GCSE. Recent results have moved all my learners at least one grade boundary after 5 hours of tuition.

I have taught all the main exam boards, and my resources are updated for today`s business world. Currently I am supporting students with Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy and Politics plus Human Geography and Business English.

We can work on targets and follow `accelerated learner techniques` to meet exam-based demands with a professional but fun style. I have learned that building confidence and trust is key to success and enjoyment.

I hold a Enhanced DBS certificate that has yearly ongoing checks.

I am a fully qualified teacher with 25 years experience at GCSE and A level (14- to 19-year-olds) and IB, working in the UK and abroad. My previous roles as a teacher trainer, secondary school teacher and a tutor for special and gifted learners. I also have further experience as a GCSE and A Level examiner. As a teacher I was also a staff coach and trainer for a full range of courses offered in the post 16 sector. I gained Employer of the Year in 2010 and in 2011 a Career Academy Honorary Alumni for outstanding contribution to Financial Service links between employers and young professional

I believe that I can add at least two higher grade boundaries to your present results and learning. Recent results have moved all my learners at least one grade boundary after 5 hours tuition. Last year I worked with students that increased their mock grades by at least 3 grades after 5 weekly sessions with some gaining A and A*in the final exams.

I use face to face and Teams and other online interactive apps to enhance grades and learning over the last year. I currently have customers that regularly use the online sessions and find them interesting and improve their grades at a fast pace. I hope I can help in whatever format you wish to use.

Lessons were tailored to tackle my weaknesses in economics and business studies, were catered for my learning style, and Paul was always more than happy to mark my answer attempts and answer any questions promptly outside of tutor times, giving useful feedback on each.
