About
I am an experienced geography teacher and tutor. I have been teaching geography in the UK for 26 years. I have an extensive knowledge of the all syllabuses at A-Level and GCSE. My approach is to use student and parent voice on how best to support each student I tutor. I look at student responses to exam style questions to diagnose where the gaps are and plan how best to address these. This might be achieved by developing and enhancing their subject knowledge, supporting NEA completion, improving how to apply knowledge and understanding to exam style questions, and developing extended (essay) style responses that will gain the highest grades.

Claire worked with my daughter over the last year doing lessons over zoom, and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s reliable, organised, patient and has a great teaching style which has really helped my daughter prepare for her Geography A Level.
