About
Hi! My name is Vanessa. I'm a mathematics teacher, tutor and GCSE examiner with over 20 years' experience helping students in Years 7–11 grow in confidence. I offer online GCSE maths tuition to support every student on their maths learning journey. Weekly live small group sessions (maximum 4 students) are complemented by study activities and regular feedback aimed at helping students develop independent study skills and learning confidence alongside subject knowledge and fluency. Lessons are friendly, focused and engaging. Whether we're building exam technique, untangling tricky algebra or rebuilding confidence before mocks, my goal is simple: to help every student see and believe what they're truly capable of. As a qualified teacher, GCSE examiner and specialist maths educator, I bring real insight into exactly what exam boards are looking for. Every session is tailored to the students' needs, their learning style and their goals, from KS3 foundations right through to GCSE exam preparation.
