About
I am a professional musician who has been teaching students of all ages and abilities alongside for nearly 10 years. I often enter students for exams and prep them for performances and auditions. I am experienced and equipped to teach online, or in person, either at my house or at your own home. I was born and raised in the rolling hills of Herefordshire and have had the pleasure of performing in numerous shows across the world including Grease, Sister Act, The Sound of Music, Half A Sixpence, Dorian Gray, and many more. My music skills have also led me to perform around the world, including Royal Albert Hall, London and the Carnegie Hall, New York. I have great experience in entering and prepping students for LAMDA and Trinity exams for both Acting and Musical Theatre, as well as ABRSM exams in various instruments. All of my previous students have passed their exams first time, with around 90% passing with distinction. I also regularly lead workshops in performance disciplines around the country, teaching students of all ages and abilities.

How we verify these

Elliot has been teaching our 5 year old drama and piano and our son absolutely loves Elliot. He is amazing with children and his method is fun and engaging. Our son has a lot of fun and looks forward to his lessons with Elliot, which is so important with young children. Thank you Elliot!

Elliot has been an excellent teacher to both my children aged 7 and 6. He has made drama so engaging and fun, making them more confident and outspoken. He has also taught piano and uncovered a deep passion for music in our son. All the lessons are tailored to suit our very different children; making it exciting and fun for them! My partner and I had a fantastic experience with Elliot who taught us our wedding first dance. Elliot is professional, personable and made the learning experience fun! We are really happy with the dance choreography that Elliot put together based on the brief we set together and after every lesson we've gotten so much better. We can't recommend him enough!

Elliot is simply brilliant. My son loves his trumpet lessons and looks forward to seeing him. He explains concept methodically and covers both theory and performance during each lesson, setting both practice and theory homework each week for a solid foundation. In a short space of time he has developed such a lovely rapport with my son - he is always full of praise for his playing and any constructive feedback is delivered in an encouraging way. His lessons are fun, he's full of energy and enthusiasm and is a lovely person. We love having him around and my son has made amazing progress with him. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Elliot has brought a real breath of fresh air to the piano tuition for my two boys (age 10 and 13, Grade 3). We weren’t keen on very formal teaching, and Elliot has so far been great at teaching my two boys in ways which suit them - easy to follow chords and rhythmical work with one and a lovely pop song with the other. A sprinkling of theory thrown in as well. Elliot has a great engaging, positive attitude as well which encourages the boys nicely!
