Hi! My name is Steve. I am a Physical Education and Sport and Exercise Science teacher, currently teaching at a Sixth Form College in South-East London. I have taught A Level PE and BTEC Sport and Exercise Science for the past 10 years. Academically, I have an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Sports Science, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Secondary Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Tutoring Experience

Within my career, I have taught A Level PE (AQA) and BTEC Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science for 10 years. I have also been a Head of Department for three years and am now a Curriculum Director, with responsibility for a large vocational curriculum.

My knowledge of the demands and keys to success in A Level PE and BTEC Sport and Exercise Science is extensive. Over the past 10 years, I have developed and utilised a range of effective teaching strategies to facilitate progress and help students achieve their full potential.

Tutoring Approach

I am extremely passionate about PE and Sports Science, and this is reflected in my approach to teaching. I have exceptionally high standards for all of my students and am a flexible teacher who can tailor my approach to suit the individual needs of the learner. I have a real passion for teaching young people and thoroughly enjoy watching them grow, develop and achieve their goals.
