Cherylin

Hello, my name is Cherylin, and I am an experienced science teacher and tutor with over 20 years of teaching experience.

I specialise in Chemistry up to A-level and also teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE level.

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students of all abilities across grammar, state, independent and international schools. I have extensive experience with several major examination boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also worked as an examiner, giving me valuable insight into examination standards, assessment criteria and the skills students need to demonstrate to achieve the best possible results.

Alongside my classroom teaching, I have many years of experience providing one-to-one tuition, both in person and online. Having worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, I understand that every learner is different. I therefore tailor my lessons to suit each student's individual needs, learning style and academic goals.

I am passionate about making science accessible and enjoyable, helping students develop a secure understanding of scientific concepts, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Whether you are looking to improve your grades, strengthen your subject knowledge or prepare for GCSE and A-level examinations, I aim to provide supportive, engaging and effective tuition to help you succeed.
