Biology covers cells, physiology, genetics, ecology and evolution from KS3 through GCSE (combined or triple), A-level and Pre-U. The volume of content is the headline challenge: students who 'get' biology often still lose marks on exam technique, command words, and the required practicals. Boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas, CIE) diverge meaningfully, so match the tutor to the spec, especially in maths, sciences and modern languages where assessment differences are sharp.
